Getting Started:
Now that you are ready to embark on the single most imperative change for health that you can make for your entire family, let‘s examine the most important way to start:
GRINDING YOUR GRAIN:
Milling your grain fresh with a grain mill is one of the single most important changes you can make in your family‘s health immediately! Often I am asked, "If I had to choose, which machine I should start with, A Bosch Mixer or a Nutrimill Grain mill?" The answer to me is easy: Go with a Nutrimill Grain Mill! You are accessing over 26 nutrients in a single kernel of wheat including the B vitamins, the heart, skin and hormone healthy vitamin E, Riboflavin, magnesium, folic acid and more! The fiber acts as a broom cleaning out the impurities from your body. Did you know that all cancer starts in the colon? By keeping it clean and healthy, you are helping to ensure a stronger immune system. Fiber also helps to stave off hunger by keeping you fuller longer. If you suffer from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or diabetes (high blood sugar), adding fiber in the form of whole grains will help to stabilize your sugar levels.
Do you have children bouncing off of the walls after they eat sweets or white bread? Try feeding them whole grain bread or cookies. They will not bounce! In fact, they will not be bugging you every hour to eat. They will stay fuller longer! If anybody in your family suffers from eczema, skin rashes or digestive problems, watch them disappear or improve as you add whole grains to their diets. Often people think they are allergic to wheat when it is actually the mold that they are allergic to on the old ‘wheat flour’ that they are purchasing in the grocery stores. Freshly milled flour starts to oxidize rather quickly so it must be kept cold in the freezer to keep most of those important nutrients in tact. Our government allows the flour companies to remove part of the bran and wheat germ to extend the shelf life of whole grain flour and still call it whole grain! The flour purchased in the grocery store is most likely ‘rancid’ from the delicate wheat germ oil not being kept cold. Look on a bag of whole wheat flour the next time you are in the store-do the fiber and protein contents vary? This is why!
 Putting rancid flour into the body releases free radicals that begin to destroy healthy cells. Always use fresh or fresh from the freezer(bring to room temperature first for bread or the yeast will not wake up and do its thing!)flour for maximum nutritional benefit.

It has a self-cleaning surgical stainless steel burr system that explodes the grain upon impact into a powder-fine flour or a more coarse bread flour. It will mill small amounts of dry grains or beans or up to 5 pounds(12 cups of grain) of flour in under 10 minutes!
